Memories

Dont think of the future,
Yet remember our past.
Let time stand still.
Make the memories last.

Forget me knots,
And picture stills.
A long lost love,
A pain that kills.

I hid from the pain,
Yet it was still there.
It lingered in my mind
So hard for me to bare.

But, the loneliness was temporary.
The pain was too.
The only thing that got me through,
Were my loving memories of you.
