Dear God, It is me again
I have a favor to ask of you
You have sent someone to me
That I feel the love may be true
This love is not the same
As others I thought I felt before
It is a different type of love
For this person, I truly adore
He fills my life with happiness
As if he was blessed by your grace
And if any pain begins to appear
A simple thought deletes it, leaving no trace.
He gives me a sense of security
One that I have never felt the likes of
A different feeling I have found
A feeling that was obviously sent from above.
So Lord, I come to you a humble woman
Praying this love will stay
A love that will always be there
As you are night and day
Let us go through this life
Hand in Hand, with you as our guide
For when waters get too rough
Let us realize you by our side

It has always taken two
But I believe this road will be easier
