Poetry's Kiss

In many ways I've tried to show,
this love I feel for you.
In letters, cards and romantic poems,
and the words that I speak through.
Still I know sometimes it's not enough,
for it's the touch that one does miss.
So in this heartfelt poem of mine,
I'll try to touch you with a kiss.
Now close your eyes and bring to mind,
the echoes of your sigh.
As my lips brush across your skin,
and our passion rises high.
Can you hear my love when I hold you tight,
though not a word is said?
Can you see in my eyes that I'm mesmerized,
as I lay you on our bed?
In my arms I feel your body yield,
and your beauty I adore.
All I am I vow to you,
and I want to give you more.
So lie here quietly in my arms,
and I'll love your stress away.
Let your heart melt into mine,
and feel the words I pray.
May you always feel my soft warm kiss,
each day as we walk through life.
May you know in your heart that I love no other,
like I love my loving one.
I'll close this now with the hopes that I,
have done what I tried to do.
Touched your heart with a tender kiss...
and made one out of two.
